Lead Control Management Officer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to join the Data Management Control team within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM).

In this role, you will:

1. Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging data management risks with broad impact across WIM
2. Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
3. Provide consulting support to help business teams identify risks and design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
4. Participate in Control Management projects and cross-functional working groups.
5. Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
6. Collaborate with relevant business group and line of business control teams to identify risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
7. Assist in developing and maintaining risk monitoring and reporting processes

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Data Management risk and controls
• Experience with Wells Fargo systems, applications, technology tools
• Experience with Wells Fargo risk programs, including RCSA and Issue Management
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Strong presentation and reporting skills
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and professionalism
• Effective time management and organizational skills

Job Expectations:

• Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
