Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist is responsible for purchasing aircraft parts, components, and materials to support private jet operations. This includes managing AOG, routine stocking, and fleet provisioning. The role involves performing receiving inspections of incoming inventory and maintaining order in parts storage, shipping/receiving areas, and company tools. Additionally, the Parts Specialist is tasked with expediting, shipping, and tracking parts/materials shipments, as well as handling hazardous material shipments in accordance with company procedures and CFR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Purchase aircraft parts, components, and materials to support operations.
• Perform receiving inspections of incoming inventory following company procedures.
• Maintain order in parts storage areas, shipping/receiving areas, and company tools.
• Ensure parts and tools are appropriately tagged, stored, and segregated.
• Expedite, ship, and track parts/materials shipments.
• Identify, classify, and handle hazardous material shipments as per regulations.
• File warranty claims for programs as needed.
• Update and maintain the inventory tracking program.
• Monitor and track exchange cores and promptly return to vendors.

Essential Skills

• Experience with inventory and materials management.
• Experience using ERP systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50/hr.
