Painter
Join our team as a Painter, where you will be integral in painting commercial construction projects. Specializing in both new and existing commercial and industrial buildings, you will primarily focus on interior walls with occasional exterior painting tasks. This role involves utilizing brush and rolling techniques, as well as cutting in without the use of tape.
Responsibilities:
- Perform painting functions for commercial construction projects.
- Specialize in interior wall painting with occasional exterior painting.
- Utilize brush and rolling techniques and cut in without using tape.
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial or residential painting.
- Proficiency with paintbrush, paint prep, and roller techniques.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to travel overnight and work weekends as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial painting and construction environments.

Work Environment:
You will be working on construction job sites, handling both indoor and outdoor projects. The team, consisting of 8-30 painters, values autonomy and high standards. The work environment is supportive, with a focus on providing the best equipment and resources. The dress code includes company shirts, pants or shorts, and boots, with some projects requiring steel-to-e boots. The work schedule typically runs from 8 am to 4:30/5 pm, starting at the shop, with potential weekend and overnight work as projects demand. Per diem and expenses are covered for overnight travel.
Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
