Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.
The Registered Nurse provides administrative and clinical responsibility for all nursing services on their intended unit. Demonstrates leadership and role modeling at all times for staff. Supervises direct patient care, nursing management, assessments, and crisis management. Ensures environmental safety for the patient population. Assists with training and education of staff, patients, and families as needed. Assists nursing leadership and/or the nursing supervisor in reviewing for referrals for admissions, completing admissions assessments and other assigned duties that facilitate the proper operation of the facility.
THIS IS A 7:00 PM-7:00 AM SHIFT WITH EOW REQUIREMENTS.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program. Current state RN license, BSN preferred. One year emergency psychiatric experience with adults, adolescents and/or children preferred.
