Position Summary
The Department of Radiology at the Universityof New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an outstanding individual tojoin our Emergency Radiology section. Discoverwhat makes this remarkable academic medical center one of the best places towork in the Southwest!
In-person,hybrid, and remote options all available, as well as academic and staff (100%clinical) positions.
The successful candidate will provide coverage in Emergency Radiology,specifically the interpretation of CT, ultrasound, radiography, and some MRIacross all organ systems including neurologic, thoracic, musculoskeletal,vascular, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and early obstetric. Mostdaily clinical assignments involve resident or fellow supervision. Allfaculty contribute to resident didactic education and are encouraged to engagein clinical research or other scholarly activities. Opportunities includeparticipation in multidisciplinary conferences and other interdisciplinaryactivities, particularly with our Emergency Medicine and Trauma/Acute CareSurgery colleagues. Research opportunities include diverse and growingtranslational imaging and image processing facilities and are supported bydedicated research and publications staff.
A candidate with strong interest and/or background inNeuroradiology can also be considered for an Emergency + acute careNeuroradiology role.
The clinical schedule will include rotating blocks throughafternoon (12 pm - 8 pm), evening (4:30 pm - 12 am) and night (10 pm - 7 am)with ample non-clinical time between blocks of shifts.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications are:
- MD, DO, or equivalent
- Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico
- ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date
- Experience or fellowship in Emergency Radiology, MSK, Neuroradiology, or Abdominal Imaging with demonstrated ability to read across the broad spectrum of emergency imaging
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and learner success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
