NWOC Specialist I
The National Warehouse Operations Committee/Partner Country Organization allows you to make decisions that will make an impact at one of the nation's top grocers. Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Salary: $74,000
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $77,000 | Year 3 - $80,000
Work Location: Salisbury, NC
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 2 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 2 days per week; work in-office at least 3 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts tests, evaluates results, creates active monitoring tools, and recommends ongoing process or operational changes.
- Supports their direct leader on topics for discussion at National committee meetings and international meetings as needed. This may include the creation of presentation materials, talking points, agendas, and minutes.
- Provides insight to management to be used for decision-making.
- Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
- Researches and develops warehouse projects and develop success criteria and proposed advancement in area of responsibility.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data in Manhattan, SAP, Celonis, oSCI, Tableau, and other data and reporting platforms to support NWOC initiatives.
- Identifies, proposes, researches, and evaluates the use of new technologies and ideas to promote warehouse cost savings initiatives.
- Develops engaging and impactful training plans and resources to promote divisional warehouse adherence to processes and procedures.
- Works proactively to identify, capture, and report KPI performance anomalies, as well as opportunities for divisional performance improvement.
- Creates documentation, recommends courses of action, and oversees creation of new reports pertaining to warehouse projects, systems, and procedures.
- Analyzes and researches statistical outliers in warehouse KPI data and makes recommendations for correction following company information flow directives.
- Organizes effective communication logs to document correspondence and report appropriately.
- Supports special projects as requested.
- Develops processes, user documentation, and corresponding project details for distribution to all relevant users.
- Coordinates plans for testing, documentation, and training for project rollouts.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure that departmental objectives are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Designs projects, develops process documentation, creates and maintains proactive reporting schedules, and assists in supervising projects from implementation through delivery.
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
- Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data/Business Analytics, Logistics, Warehousing, Management, or a related field required.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a warehousing-focused role required.
- Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
- Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
- Domestic travel required.
- Up to 10%.
