As a Nutritional Cook, you will play an essential role in ensuring our residents enjoy high-quality meals daily.

Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation exceed HCSG standards.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines while maintaining a clean kitchen.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow recipes and observe dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with all team members.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walking.
- Willingness to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Completion of an approved sanitation and safety course may be required.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification based on state regulations is necessary.
- Residency within the service area is required.
