nnAS A MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
n- n
- Coaching, training, and retaining talent n
- Championing our credit and loyalty programs. Ensure your team can inform, educate, and promote the benefits and offerings that reward our guest and enhance their shopping experience n
- Executing store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experience n
- Utilizing business reports to guide decisions and deliver high standards and results n
- Understanding and usage of company standard software, systems, and procedures n
- Inspiring and motivating a team through company recognition programs n
- Creating a sense of teamwork, collaboration, and engagement among associates n
- Performs other duties as assigned n
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR:
n- n
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required n
- 1-2 years minimum of supervisory experience preferred n
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills n
- Works well both independently and within a team environment n
- Strong problem-solving skills n
- Utilization of Zebra PDA, POS Systems, Microsoft Office Programs, and Payroll/Scheduling Software n
- Work varying hours and schedules to include mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays n
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
n- n
- Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations n
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 20 pounds n
- Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. – bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching) n
- Must possess reliable transportation n
