We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Sanitary Piping and SolidWorks Design, catering to biotechnology, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed, customized 3D SolidWorks drawings for sanitary piping systems.
- Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers, following direction to ensure project specifications are met.
- Development of comprehensive bills of materials for project requirements.
- Active participation in continual learning and application of relevant industry standards and new technologies.
- Contributing to troubleshooting and problem-solving within project scopes.
- Ensuring all designs comply with regulatory requirements.
- One or more years of 3D SolidWorks design experience with sanitary piping in biotechnology, food, or pharmaceutical industries.
- An engineering degree or equivalent professional 3D design experience.
- A solid work history demonstrating reliability and dedication to past projects.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States as a citizen or Green Card holder.
- Residence within 45 minutes of Whitewater, Wisconsin, or willingness to relocate independently.
- Eagerness and capability to learn additional skills such as electrical controls and fluid mechanics.
- Advanced knowledge and use of SolidWorks for 3D design and simulation tasks.
- Proven track record of successful project completion and strong team collaboration.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment dealing with structural systems or metal components.
- Initiative to assume higher responsibilities like project management roles.
- Prior involvement in projects demanding stringent sanitary standards.
- Profound competency in SolidWorks and other pertinent engineering software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to biotechnology, food, and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Exceptional communication skills to align with managers and engineers effectively.
