Materials Handler - City Counter Operations

Compensation Pay Range: $24.35 - $26.85

About the Role: In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that parts are pulled accurately and efficiently for shipment to our stores. Your ability to work quickly and communicate effectively will enhance our customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive orders from stores and pull parts accurately based on pick tickets/labels.
• Transport pulled parts to the designated city counter area swiftly.
• Process back orders and surplus orders in a timely manner.
• Engage with drivers to improve customer service.
• Maintain clear and organized logs related to parts pulled.
• Inspect packaging to ensure parts are in good condition.
• Promote a clean and safe work environment by upholding safety standards.
• Document alternative locations for parts and communicate daily for accurate adjustments.
• Act as a trainer for new team members, ensuring proper training and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to accurately read and match letters, words, and numbers.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
• Capable of multitasking and working collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience operating a three-wheel buggy.
• Previous experience in picking or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse practices.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
