Become a vital part of our specialized team as a Surgical Technologist in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room. You will play a key role in supporting life-saving pediatric heart surgeries by ensuring the operating room is prepared, sterile, and efficiently assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room for pediatric cardiovascular surgeries by meticulously sterilizing instruments and setting up specialized equipment.
Assist surgeons by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile technique, and proactively anticipating surgical needs throughout procedures.
Monitor and accurately document patient information during surgeries to ensure optimal safety and care.
Support the surgical team with patient positioning, pre-operative preparation, and post-operative care tasks.
Maintain and restock supplies and ensure all surgical equipment is functioning correctly for pediatric cardiovascular cases.

Work Environment:

This role takes place in hospital pediatric cardiovascular operating rooms or surgical centers.
Successful candidates will demonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to comfort and assist children and families in high-stress surgical situations.
