Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Support the manufacturing process through movement of materials around the shop floor/yard and preparing for shipment to customers while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Using forklift/front end loader load/unload materials into trucks, containers, etc
• Maintain a neat, organized, warehouse
• Assist shipping in prepping orders for delivery
• Ensure loads are correctly tied down to prevent tank damage and load is safe for transport
• Deliver all shipping related documents to be invoiced/received
• Collect weight and dimensions for outbound shipments
• Stock materials for production as needed
• Monitor use of materials in the tool room for excessive use
• Wear appropriate PPE in required areas
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Three years of verifiable work history
• Experience in warehouse management
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and other light equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or control; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Travel less than 10%
