Material Handler

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill a Material Handler position with a leading industrial packaging company in La Porte, TX.
Schedules Available:
1st shift: 5:00am - until finished, Monday - Friday
2nd shift: 1:30pm - until finished, Monday - Friday
12-hour shifts, overtime as needed
Pay: $19.33/hr.
Key Responsibilities:

• Follow loading schedules and instructions from the Quality Coordinator or Supervisor.
• Prepare trucks, trailers, and railcars for loading by removing debris and reporting any unsuitable vehicles.
• Operate conveyors, palletizers, and other equipment to safely and efficiently load containers and materials.
• Load and transport materials such as skids, lumber, and containers between trailers and storage areas.
• Maintain accurate production and labor reporting while keeping equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Report any equipment or material issues to the Quality Coordinator or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience with fast paced/heavy lifting environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
