Night General Warehouse Associate

Join our team as a Night General Warehouse Associate! In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assisting with various pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. You will be responsible for operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer engagement by greeting and assisting customers with their needs and resolving any issues they may encounter.
• Share customer service best practices with the team to ensure a distinct and pleasant experience for all customers.
• Build strong relationships with valued customers to enhance their experience.

Operational Duties

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring adherence to all relevant codes of conduct and regulations.
• Support the pharmacy team by entering patient and drug information accurately, filling prescriptions, and verifying medications.
• Maintain an organized workflow while reporting errors promptly and following procedures to minimize risks.
• Process sales transactions with efficiency and accuracy, assisting customers in locating products when necessary.
• Handle calls that do not require a pharmacist’s direct attention and correct third-party claims as needed.
• Lead inventory management tasks including the ordering, checking, and storing of pharmaceutical shipments.
• Support clinical services, assisting with sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Participate in community outreach to strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals and enhance pharmacy services.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and well-stocked pharmacy environment.
• Train and assist pharmacy technicians and cashiers, promoting best practices for improved efficiency.
• Comply with all company policies while fostering respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special tasks and assignments as required.

Training & Development

• Maintain required certifications through designated training programs and attend training sessions to acquire continuing education credits.
• Stay updated on industry developments and enhance skills in healthcare and pharmacy practices.
