Material Coordinator

The Material Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless manufacturing operations by guaranteeing the right materials are available at the right time and accurately tracked in the ERP system. Working closely with the Production Supervisor, the Material Coordinator facilitates product movement across the production floor and communicates effectively with manufacturing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability at the planned location.
• Understand and manage the process flow.
• Document and utilize ERP system for tracking materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory management and control.
• Proficiency in material handling and cycle counts.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred two-year college degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting is advantageous.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a strong customer focus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rensselaer, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
