General Summary
We have an exciting opportunity within the Consumer Channel Marketing team managing Global channel marketing programs within retail channels. In this role you will partner across the Qualcomm team to create programs and initiatives to drive our diversification business and front line marketing activities with our channel and OEM partners focused on consumer and commercial reseller retail and call center experiences. We are leading the PC AI revolution and looking for a strong contributor to create the best-in-class marketing relationships across the Global Consumer Channel Marketing ecosystem.

You will act as a player directly executing and owning a broad range of critical components of our marketing strategy focused on top partners, accounts, industries, and segments for the consumer segments.
Consumer Channel Marketing Responsibilities

• Lead our consumer retail in-store experiences for our owned and operated spaces as well as our co-marketing spaces with the PC ecosystem. Lead our commercial in-VAR call center experiences and merchandising. Be point person for our partner marketing event experiences in collaboration with our global events team.
• Manage Global consumer channel partner marketing relationships, including distributors, resellers, and retailers. Collaborate with global marketing teams to create channel-specific marketing collateral, campaigns, and promotions and leading our in-store global fixture program.
• Help develop marketing framework and programs with the channel to help determine what helps set the product apart from others. Identifies data-informed short-term and long-term physical marketing strategies, evaluates tradeoffs, and prioritizes the creation of deep collaboration and trust with customers, partners, and the field.
• Partner with our Channel Sales Teams to develop co-marketing execution tactics with top partners and support MDF process. Ensure timely execution of programs in channel and monitor channel performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize partner success.
• Produce a monthly consumer/retail channel report covering relevant market insights, sales impact results and up-coming actions to improve customer experiences at point of sale. Monitor channel performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize partner success.
• Consumer Channel Event Marketing execution - Execute a strategic plan to support channel partners and to Identify priority channel events and incorporate into marketing plan. Work across the marketing, sales and product management teams to align on strategy and supporting event activities for Consumer and Commercial Marketing. Integrate into the overall QC global event strategy, support the work of the broader team to deliver on event enablement. Work with the QC Marketing and PDM teams to identify relevant QC content for presentations. Manage post event metrics and event performance for reporting for optimization of strategy and linage to business results.

• Collaborates horizontally and vertically with internal stakeholders to gain buy in and alignment and solicits input regarding priorities and resources needed to deliver desired outcomes for capitalizing on industry trends across the product portfolio. Contributes to the creation and alignment of internal incentives programs and KPIs.
• Proven effective project management capability in a highly-matrixed, customer-centric organization

This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA and is not eligible for remote work.This position will require the ability to travel - estimated 30-40%.Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  
  

ORAssociate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

• Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits
$133,500.00 - $200,300.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
