Manufacturing Engineer

Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical expertise and manufacturing engineering ownership for the Project Kuiper satellite program. You will be supporting the production and testing of satellite assemblies.

Shift Schedule: Front Half Days Sun-Wed 6am-4:30pm

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Write work instructions, troubleshoot non-conformances and help execute critical satellite assembly build and test campaigns, including hands-on work.
• Definition & implementation of Work Order Instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with developing manufacturing processes for automated quality SPC.
• Specify, design and help procure various assembly equipment, tools and systems to meet program development requirements.
• Interface with facilities personnel on site development and utility requirements definition.
• AIT takt time & cost optimization planning.
• Review designs for manufacturability and sign off for design release.
• Must be willing to work off shifts and weekends as required.
