This role serves as your entry point into training and development, where you will troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and other essential facility systems in a dynamic distribution center.

• Work Schedule: 10pm - 8:30am, Wednesday - Saturday or Sunday - Wednesday.

Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Maintenance Technician will include:

• Accurately tracking and documenting spare parts usage, inventory, and work order actions in adherence to company policies.
• Assisting in the maintenance of the distribution center, including refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting.
• Managing charging cycles and battery rotation to maximize battery availability.
• Conducting inspections, cleaning, specific gravity checks, evaluating cable serviceability, and repairing damages.
• Gaining proficiency in using the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

The qualifications we're looking for:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
• At least 1 year of experience maintaining material handling equipment.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with distribution center industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills, with experience in maintenance databases like MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English effectively for job-related tasks and safety protocols.
