Job Description
The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for sorting, processing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail within the organization. This role ensures that all mail is handled efficiently and accurately, supporting the smooth flow of communications.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including weighing packages and calculating postage.
- Maintain and organize mailroom supplies and equipment.
- Track and log incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with other clerical duties as needed, such as filing and data entry.
- 1+ years of mailroom experience.
- Experience in mailroom operations, including sorting and processing mail.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break or from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
