As a mail room specialist, you'll manage the daily sorting and distribution of interoffice and USPS mail, as well as metering outbound mail and packages. In this role, you'll focus on ensuring accurate and timely mail delivery by maintaining up-to-date records of employee locations and streamlining mailroom operations. You'll play a key role in supporting efficient communication across the organization while upholding high standards of accuracy and reliability.

Location: Mayfield Village, Ohio

Schedule: Part-time 20 hours per week Monday - Friday from 10:00am-2:00pm ET

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Must-have qualifications: High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of two years related work experience. This position requires a valid driver's license. This position requires compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policies.

Preferred skills:

• Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure accurate and timely sorting of mail within strict deadlines
• Demonstrated capacity to comprehend and follow complex instructions with precision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with couriers and professional interaction with customers
• Technical proficiency in operating and maintaining mail processing and metering equipment, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Compensation: $15.77 - $19.71/hour. Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.

Physical requirements/working conditions:

• Ability to work outdoors, including ability to tolerate extreme weather conditions
• Must be able to move and/or lift 50 lbs
• Involves frequent driving
• Exposure to chemicals, equipment, noise and other work conditions typically found in a commercial facility is possible
• Required to frequently walk, sit, bend and kneel
• Required to use hands and fingers to operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms
• Required to climb, balance, stoop, crouch and crawl
• Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Involves operating machinery and equipment
• May require prolonged, repetitive use of the upper extremities
