Machine Operator Punch Press

A detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Machine Operator is needed in Windsor, CO. This role involves operating a punch press machine to produce metal buttons. You'll be part of a small, experienced crew that values precision, teamwork, and a comfortable work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate punch press machine to produce metal buttons
• Load metal reels and monitor machine performance
• Conduct quality checks every 1,000 units:
• Visual inspection using a microscope
• Force characteristics test using specialized equipment
• Record results on a trend chart and ensure tolerances are met
• Make machine adjustments as needed (training provided)
• Use basic math and computer systems regularly
• Set up machines and tooling after training
• Lift 5075 lbs as needed throughout the day

Required skills and experience include:

• Intermediate experience in manufacturing or production
• Familiarity with press machines or similar equipment
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable using hand tools and performing visual inspections
• Basic computer and math skills

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
