Position Summary
As a Logistics Specialist in Shipping and Receiving, you will control the shipping and receiving of all materials, ensuring the integrity and quality of every shipment.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain and control all records related to shipping and receiving.
• Ensure compliance with system requirements for shipping and receiving processes.
• Collaborate effectively with machinists, engineers, management, and support functions.
• Efficiently deliver received goods to the appropriate areas of the plant.
• Confirm that received materials meet all requirements as specified.
• Update invoice amounts in Dockstar weekly.
• Drive trucks for delivery and pick-up from vendors and customers.
• Identify and sort parts based on processing types (Black Oxide, Paint, Teflon, Anodize, Tech Kote, etc.).
• Coordinate subcontracting for specialized operations.
• Operate a crane for loading and unloading trucks.

Essential Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or utility areas.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Experience operating a stretch wrap bander.
• Strong commitment to company values.
• Valid Driver License; CDL operator license is a plus.

Nonessential Skills and Experience

• Training in personal computing and business systems.
• Familiarity with quality system requirements.
• Training in receiving inspection processes.

• Understand and adhere to the company's EHS Policy in relation to this job.
• Comply with OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the company's Plant Rules.
• Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, following all EHS procedures.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to your supervisor immediately.
• Complete required EHS training.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; use hands to handle objects; reach with hands and arms; lift up to approximately 60 lbs; engage in repetitive activities.
