Logistics Clerk

Staffmark is hiring a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk in Winona Lake, IN! If you're organized, efficient, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you! Pay: $18.25/hr 1st Shift Available As a Logistics Clerk, you'll manage all aspects of inbound and outbound shipping operations. This includes preparing documentation, coordinating freight, quoting, billing, and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential. This role also serves as a backup to the Shipping & Receiving Clerk, and forklift certification is required within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including quoting, dispatching, tracking, and billing.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and sales to prepare and ship customer orders.
• Schedule freight, prepare UPS and international shipping documents.
• Monitor logistics metrics and support process improvements.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight and provide backup support.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong math and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet during 8+ hour shifts.
• Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
