Data Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Data Operator who will utilize Microsoft products, including Outlook and Excel, on a daily basis. The role involves handling incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments, and adding service tickets. This position operates during the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, in an office-based setting.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for daily tasks.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or internal employees.
- Add and manage service tickets in the central station.
- Participate in a 6-week training program with the manager.
- Adhere to a strict schedule post-training.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in data entry within the past 2 years.
- Customer service experience within the past 2 years.
- Moderate knowledge of Excel, including basic SUMIF formulas.
- Clerical experience within the past 2 years.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Experience with phone systems and handling calls.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong attendance record.
Work Environment:
The work environment is casual, allowing for jeans and a shirt during the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM. Employees enjoy a four-day weekend once a month. The workplace is UL certified, necessitating that two people are on site at all times.
Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
