SUMMARY:
- The Medical Assistant in the Department of Medicine (DOM) Float Pool plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across multiple locations, including University City, Radnor, Cherry Hill, and others.
- This full-time, day-shift position (Monday–Friday) requires reliable transportation, adaptability, and strong clinical skills to support various specialties as needed.
- Responsibilities include performing vital signs, EKGs, point-of-care testing, immunizations, and injections, assisting providers with patient exams and procedures, maintaining accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring exam rooms are properly stocked and sanitized, and providing patient education on medications and treatments.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work in diverse clinical settings, demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant looking to gain diverse experience while making a meaningful impact in patient care.
INTERVIEW DETIALS: Virtual on camera via TEAMS
TRAINING: 4 hour PennChart training form 8am-1pm on Fridays. Specific date will be determined after award offer and acceptance.
