About Us:
Physicians Care is seeking skilled ARRT or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to contribute to our healthcare team. With 12 locations across Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, we are part of Urgent Team, a leading operator of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Committed to delivering quality and affordable healthcare, our Physician Care locations offer a variety of services for injuries, illnesses, and wellness care, open seven days a week.
Responsibilities Include:
The following duties are essential aspects of this role:
- Perform a variety of radiological procedures to aid in the evaluation and treatment by physicians.
- Conduct necessary quality control processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of exams.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to established safety and care guidelines, including radiation protection.
- Ensure that all radiologic equipment is functioning correctly, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to each patient visit as required.
- Commit to ongoing development of diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills through educational resources.
- Keep current with licensure and certification related to radiology equipment used in the facility.
Qualifications Required:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Tennessee State X-Ray License.
- ARRT Certification is preferred.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
