POSITION SUMMARY - LMSW Social Worker
POSITION DUTIES -

• Works with the psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team in developing and managing treatment plans.
• Serves as liaison in relation to patient care and needs, between the hospital, community, and insurers to facilitate access to clinical treatment for individuals.
• Provides social services to both adult and child/adolescent patients.
• Services include but are not limited to bio-psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, individual and family education and group.
• Provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy
  in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
• Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient centered timely, efficient and equitable.
• Serve on designated committees and as qualified, may serve as field instructors for social work.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS -

• LMSW (licensed in MI)
• Graduate of accredited school of social work with a master's degree
• 2-3 years social work experience
• Previous travel experience
• Previous recent inpatient behavioral health experience
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to perform intake assessment
• Experience leading groups
• Experience charting in EMR/EMH system

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - EPIC charting experience, Discharge planning experience.
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT - 13 weeks
SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK - 8a-4:30p Rotating Schedule, 2-3 weekends per month required
