ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Trainer to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in training and development, possessing extensive experience and deep knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training technologies
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide training strategies, programs, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and learner needs
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to other Trainers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the Training and Development Team
- Design and develop innovative and engaging training solutions, using a variety of modalities and technologies to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences
- Conduct needs assessments, analyze training effectiveness data, and identify opportunities to improve training programs and optimize learning outcomes
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals
- Contribute to the development and delivery of train-the-trainer programs, ensuring that Trainers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective training
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, information technology, or a related field or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years of experience in training and development
- Proven track record of designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs in a variety of formats and modalities.
- Expert-level knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and training evaluation techniques.
- Extensive experience with a wide range of training technologies and e-learning authoring tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), video editing software, and interactive learning platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide training strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to analyze training needs, design and develop engaging training content, and deliver effective training programs that enhance learner knowledge, skills, and performance.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Trainer, or International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) Certified Performance Technologist (CPT).
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Experience with developing and delivering train-the-trainer programs, mentoring Junior Trainers, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Contributions to industry publications or presentations on training and development topics, demonstrating thought leadership and a commitment to advancing the field.
- Active participation in professional training and development communities and organizations, contributing to the development and dissemination of knowledge in the field.
- Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
