Lead Team Coach
Responsible for leading and coordinating the daily operations of the multiple support areas to ensure reliability and consistency on the execution of department's KPI's. Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
As the Lead Team Coach, you will work on-site in McAllen, TX, supervising an operation, business unit, or part of a production facility to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery, and safety. You will ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards and manage a team of front-line hourly manufacturing employees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the team in achieving goals related to safety, quality, cost, production, and compliance.
- Managing master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
- Leading, coordinating, or overseeing production support areas and operations. Activities include managing materials, operations and warehouse functions to ensure customer requirements are met. Manage and coordinate communication between the project managers, global supply chain and the logistics teams or vendors as needed. Oversees strategic planning of the logistics for each project to ensure successful delivery.
- Training, developing, engaging, mentoring, and inspiring the manufacturing team.
- Managing employee performance, including coaching, development plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Monitoring production schedules and trends, coaching Production Specialists on implementation.
- Assessing capacity and process capability to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Offering new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and constructing and providing recommendations.
- Communicating key business and customer issues to employees.
- Preparing and presenting key information for meetings and trainings.

Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Required to achieve and maintain an FAA Repairman Certificate to oversee employee training and cross-training.
- Willingness and ability to work any shift, flexible hours, and weekends.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Previous production supervision experience.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience in Flight Deck and Continuous Improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Additional information includes:
- Full-time position with standard business hours.
- Must pass background and drug screens.
- This role is restricted to U.S. Citizens due to access to export-controlled technology.
