Overview: Reporting to the Photo Studio Manager, the Lead Studio Photographer is responsible for implementing high-quality E-Commerce photography processes and tech, and supervision of all production functions including retouching, photo editing, and image optimization and asset management. These include, but not limited to, studio set up, lighting and digital tech, editing on and off model photographs, and filing of digital assets. The Lead Studio Photographer is also tasked with spearheading quality assurance in deliverables and complex photo assignments.

Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day mentorship, technical troubleshooting, and guidance to the photography team to ensure photoshoots are completed efficiently and to standard, using proper reference files and established standards, diagrams, and updated guidelines for photo, styling, lighting, and retouching Serve as the technical oversight on photography, ensuring all PDP and Lifestyle imagery meets company standards for quality, accuracy, and consistency Manage production schedules and projects in partnership with the Photo Studio Manager, ensuring photoshoots are completed on time and on budget Perform first-pass editing, retouching, and quality assurance for color accuracy, composition, and overall visual appeal before escalation Ensure product photography is properly labeled, archived, and optimized for website and other digital channels Establish and reinforce industry-standard production guidelines to maintain efficiency and consistency across shoots Oversee studio photography equipment and supplies, ensuring functionality and readiness for production Stay current with photography trends and techniques while actively upskilling the team to continuously improve studio capabilities

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in photography, or comparable experience with e-commerce and fashion photography focus Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a fashion, advertising, catalog, or retail environment preferred Portfolio required Proven mastery in Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign), Profoto, Macintosh OSX, and Windows (Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote), Canon camera kits Must be excellent in studio and e-commerce tools, from camera equipment, digital tech, and project management Proficiency in project management tools -Monday.com a plus Excellent understanding of in-studio and continuous lighting Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to conceptualize and solution in a visual environment Detail oriented, deadline driven personality who can thrive in a fast paced, in-house retail e-commerce department Stay current with retail, style, marketing, and photography trends Strong strategic, visual, and verbal skills required Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team, and prioritize assignments to maximize efficiency Actively seeks opportunities to improve processes and increase industry knowledge

Schedule This position is hybrid with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote with working hours of 7:30am-4pm. The Photo Studio is located inside the SNIPES Distribution Center in Philadelphia PA
