This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with classroom leadership experience who are ready to take on a mentoring and support role within a dynamic school environment.

Position Details

• Location: Fall River, MA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: MondayFriday (varies by school)
• Duration: Full 20252026 School Year
• Pay Rate: Up to $33/hour, based on experience
• Requirements: Bachelors Degree

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students in 1:1 and small group settings
• Lead and mentor other paraprofessionals in implementing behavior and academic strategies
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, BCBAs, and school staff to support student success
• Assist with behavior support plans and academic activities
• Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress
• Help coordinate classroom routines and ensure consistency across support staff

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or classroom support staff
• Leadership or mentoring experience in a school setting
• Strong background in special education and behavioral support
• Skilled in de-escalation, data collection, and behavior tracking
• Calm, flexible, and collaborative in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to support multiple classrooms and student needs

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
