Lead Developer

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Developer, where you will leverage your expertise in C#, mySQL, and AWS IoT to drive innovative solutions. With 7 to 9 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing applications that enhance our product lifecycle management processes. This office-based role offers a collaborative environment with a focus on impactful outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain robust applications using C# to support business objectives and enhance user experience.

- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity through proficient use of mySQL.

- Implement and manage AWS IoT solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues.

- Document software specifications and processes for future reference and training.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

- Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable software systems.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.

- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their needs and expectations.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards in all development activities.

Qualifications

- Demonstrate strong proficiency in C#, mySQL, and AWS IoT with practical experience.

- Possess a solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.

- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Show familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management as a nice-to-have domain skill.

- Display effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.

- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Developer or equivalent certification in cloud technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position is between $105K $131K + COLA+ Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
