Overview:
Adecco Healthcare and Lifesciences is partnered with a notable cosmetics company seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control Technician to support manufacturing operations by conducting accurate and timely quality control testing on raw materials. This role is critical in ensuring that all materials meet established standards and specifications in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing of raw materials using various analytical methods.
- Accurately document and maintain records, reports, and lab documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Communicate any quality-related concerns or potential issues to senior team members or management promptly.
- Ensure compliance with current SOPs, quality standards, methods, and specifications.
- Apply specialized testing procedures and techniques as required for functional responsibilities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in alignment with L'Oréal's policies and safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Participate in additional project work or cross-functional initiatives as needed.
- Color and odor acuity: Must be able to pass required color and odor testing.
- Laboratory experience: Prior experience in a lab environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and testing.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with other departments.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with standard computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) .
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency.
