Kitter/ Material Handler

Job Title: Kitter

Pay: $20/hr to $21/hr

Shift: Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm

Location: East Mesa, AZ

Job Description:

Join our team as a Kitter, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will support production lines, maintain accurate inventory records, and adhere to safety guidelines while working in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Transport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas.

• Supply production lines, specifically near the CNC machines, with materials needed to meet manufacturing schedules and ensure uninterrupted production.

• Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.

• Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.

Essential Skills

• Experience working with heavy sheet metal near CNC machines.

• Ability to stand for 10-12 hours a day and lift up to 35 lbs.

• Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

• 1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.

• Familiarity with ERP systems; EPICOR is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a modern manufacturing facility with air conditioning and state-of-the-art technology. The role requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, as well as the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and climb portable ladders. Personal Protection Equipment is required. Training will take place Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM for one week. The shifts available are Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and Friday to Sunday, 5 AM to 5 PM, with a 10% shift differential for the latter. The workplace promotes manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
