Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience in project management, with a strong foundation in machinery manufacturing and fabrication. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules and costs, reporting status weekly to management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to complete tasks on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with departments such as Proposals, Materials, and Manufacturing to meet project milestones and resolve issues.
• Schedule and lead effective meetings, both internally and with customers.
• Oversee all aspects of a project to ensure requirements and deliverables are met.
• Assist in various project-related tasks, including pricing proposals and ECNs, supplier evaluations, risk assessment, customer presentations, addressing quality issues, coordinating factory acceptance visits, processing RMAs, and leading process improvement activities.
• Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and scopes simultaneously.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 0-5 years of experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of machinery manufacturing and fabrication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in automation, project engineering, or application engineering.
• Exposure to the full product life cycle (customer engagement, proposal, engineering, build, integration).
• Experience using CAD software is a plus.
• PMP certification is desirable but not required.
• Willingness to travel 20-25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
