Responsibilities

• Research existing product designs to identify and streamline redundant components.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to find opportunities for component commonization.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Conduct simulations to evaluate the feasibility of component substitutions.
• Proactively participate in testing and troubleshooting activities, seeking guidance from sr engineers when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, simulations, and testing processes.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic electrical engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
• Sound understanding of electrical components and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Some on-the-job or internship experience is desired, but entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE or Saber for validating design changes and component substitutions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New Freedom, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $47.00/hr.
