Location: Reston, VA or Seattle, WA ** REMOTE/HYBRID - Candidates will need to go into testing
Rate: $60/hr C2C
JOB DESCRIPTION:
LONG TERM CONTRACT
Strong Java and networking wifi store networking experience. WIFI Captive Portal experience will be a deal! Experience with Access Points. Project will be implementing GUEST Wifi login screen through Walmart stores in the US. Need candidates who have built lowel level network products, routers, switches. Deep level of understanding how packets work as knowledge will be needed for debugging.
Interview process:
•30 min tech screen (may or may not happen)
•Tech loop. 3 people separately. (network design) (Team fit) (Functional java)
Experience with building Lower-level network related projects.
•Captive portal experience
•Built networking products.
•Understands how the packets flow (Debugging)

In general, what we are seeing is the resumes are getting padded with the job requirement regarding captive portal. The projects that they are currently working on does not tie in with captive portal implementation and they somehow try to weave all together.
Harshith
- He was not able to answer various tools and technologies that he is using in his current project. He has done a lot of UI projects, but he was not able to corollate his work.
- When asked about the volume of data that he had handled with captive portal he provided a very large number and when asked about the period he mentioned about collecting them for the past 25 years.
- He was contradicting with his answers that he had provided earlier with regards to volume of data.
- His understanding of CP was related to providing access controls to different modules based on data sensitivity.
- Bailed in the middle of the interview when asked about an implementation that he had done in Walmart Stores
