Location: Durham, NC
Job Description
- Hands‑on experience in Angular and software development
- Hands‑on experience with Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) building RESTful services, JSON, and modern application servers
- Proficient in Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Deep understanding of API design including versioning, isolation, and microservices; GraphQL knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments and applications (AWS)
- Experience documenting APIs leveraging an API documentation framework like OpenAPI
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, GitHub, and NPM
- Knowledge in container technologies Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using open‑source technologies
- Working knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams globally
- Strong team player and able to mentor junior team members

Salary Transparency

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $67,733 to $108,811/yearly. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full‑time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits for eligible employees.
