Job Details
- IT Systems Management: Oversee and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- Network Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other communication systems within the company.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues. Respond promptly to technical support tickets, diagnose problems, and provide solutions to employees.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to safeguard company data and systems. Monitor network activity and conduct regular security audits to prevent security breaches.
- Software and Hardware Support: Install, configure, and maintain software applications and hardware equipment used by the company. Ensure all systems are up to date with necessary patches and updates.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure that backup procedures are followed regularly and oversee disaster recovery plans in case of system failure.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep detailed records of IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Provide reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT security practices.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with common IT management tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with O365 applications
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
