INTL- Technical Product Owner (Colombia)

An employer is looking for a Technical Product Owner to sit remotely. You will act as the primary product owner for the clients innovation/ discovery product lane. You will define requirements/ user stories related to new markets that the client will be integrating their ecommerce platform with customer systems. You will define product specifications, architecture, and approach to ensure engineers have everything they need to successfully build and deliver various applications, systems and platforms with a heavy focus on integrations/ APIs. You will use your strong technical expertise in Agile fashion to help Product Managers to maintain and develop knowledge bases at a technical level for engineering teams to leverage and liaise with the engineering teams to ensure they are consistently keeping records of decision logs, sprint retrospectives, etc. while ensuring technical debt is properly managed.
Additional tasks will include working with analytics, design, security, support, and release managers as well as helping to optimize end-to-end testing of the products.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years experience in technical product owner roles
Strong experience defining technical requirements around APIs, integrations, back end systems
Experience breaking visual designs (such as figma mockups), product requirement documents and technical architectural documents down into low level stories and tasks for developers
Experience navigating and solutioning API integrations, application architecture, acceptance criteria, etc. for web and mobile
Well versed working in Agile Scrum environments and utilizing Jira for requirements/ user stories
Project management/ delivery experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hands on experience or background as an engineer/ developer
Familiarity with E-commerce & CMS systems.
