About the Role:

As an Interventional Radiology Technician, you will perform specialized imaging procedures such as angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular procedures, and neuro-interventional therapeutic procedures while assisting Radiologists and Physician Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomical and technical parameters accurately.
• Administer contrast media and medications within your scope of practice and in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activities; continuously evaluate protocols.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines for radiation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program
• No prior experience required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception near and far.
• Good hearing for communication and monitoring medical equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing between 0-50 lbs.
• Occasionally bending, stooping, and performing repetitive movements.

Required Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor - American Heart Association (AHA)
• ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
