American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a general radiology role requiring ARRT certification, IEMA licensure, and EPIC charting experience.

• Work in a general radiology department within a Level 1 Trauma setting
• Typical 3x12 hour day shifts, scheduled Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Responsibilities include performing diagnostic general radiologic procedures using a variety of imaging equipment
• May perform duties related to cross-trained modalities as allowed by current licensure
• Uses EPIC EMR for all charting and workflow documentation, previous EPIC experience required
• Patient population includes trauma and non-trauma cases within an acute care setting
• Main responsibilities include conducting radiographic procedures, processing and transferring image data, and reviewing cases with radiologists when appropriate
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess clinical data and support accurate exam performance
• May instruct students and new staff and cover lead or imaging coordinator duties as necessary
• Must screen for pregnancy and administer appropriate contrast agents as indicated
• Expected to maintain equipment, inventory, and a safe, orderly work environment
• No local candidates are accepted; applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Requested time off may not exceed 7 days during any 13-week contract
• Contingent staff may not be on assignment at the facility for more than one year without a 6-month break before return
• Scrubs or specific attire required as designated by department policy

• Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in Radiologic Technology
• Current BLS (AHA), IEMA Radiography License (Illinois), and ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent and relevant radiology technologist experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment required
• Proven experience with EPIC charting is required
• Ability to administer IV contrast and perform venipuncture as needed
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and ensure accurate, high-quality imaging
• License required if applicable
