The Opportunity

We provide a comprehensive, fully-paid six-month training program designed to equip you with the skills you need to succeed, including class discussions, hands-on training, E-learning modules, and instructor-led guidance. We also cover all licensing costs and have new training classes launching every month.
After six months of in-office training, you will have the chance to work remotely two days a week, with flexible onsite schedules designed between you and your manager. Our roles include a shift differential of 15% for hours worked after 6:00 pm local time and on weekends. We encourage military veterans and their spouses to apply. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
As part of our training, you will obtain a property and casualty license for your state of residence within your first three weeks of employment, and we will provide all study materials and cover the costs for up to three exam attempts. During your first 90 days, resources for obtaining additional state licenses will also be available to help you serve our members better.
We are looking for passionate individuals to work from our Colorado Springs office located at 1855 Telstar Dr, Colorado Spring, CO 80920 , for potential insurance sales and customer service opportunities starting in 2025 . As an Insurance Customer Support Specialist, you will work within established guidelines to deliver exceptional customer service, sales, and retention for various USAA Property & Casualty products, helping members with their insurance needs and deepening their relationship with our company.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist members through inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or other communication channels.
- Use your developing knowledge of personal lines' insurance to handle quotes, bind new business, and manage policy, billing, payment, and coverage information.
- Identify member needs and provide complete and accurate insurance advice and solutions.
- Navigate multiple systems and maintain engaging interactions across various contact channels.
- Maintain your Property & Casualty license and adhere to relevant state registrations.
- Manage risks associated with business activities according to our compliance policies and procedures.
What You Bring:
- Up to one year of needs-based sales and/or customer service experience in insurance or related financial services.
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service skills with clear, professional communication by phone and email.
- The ability to prioritize tasks while navigating through various applications.
- Understanding of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to acquire Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations within 90 days of hire.
What Sets You Apart:
- At least one year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment.
- Six months of experience communicating frequently with customers by phone, email, and/or in-person.
- U.S. military experience as a service member or through a military spouse/domestic partner.
Training Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Post-training, you will work a schedule based on business needs, including both weekday and weekend hours. All roles require a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
Salary: The hiring range for this position is between $46,400.00 and $48,900.00. Compensation varies based on experience and market data. You may also be eligible for performance-based pay incentives.
