At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow.

Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.

At TLE, we've created a full cast of characters that become our little learners' educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.

Job Duties

Work with a team of teachers to plan and carry out curriculum that focuses on children's development and individual child's needs, challenges and strengths.

Develop activities, schedules and routines for children as a group or one on one basis in order to develop skills and explore interests that ensure adequate activity and rest.

Teach an entire class or small groups of children the foundational knowledge in reading, writing and speaking, identifying colors, shapes, numbers, and letters and to learn and apply important concepts using a hands-on approach to help children understand basic concepts of learning.

Maintain records of children's progress, routines and interests to facilitate communication to parents of each child's progress, development and challenges.

Educational And Experience Requirements

Associate degree in education or child development.

Previous 1 or 2 yrs work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for one on one basis and in groups, and the measurement of teaching effects.

Communication and organizational skills to coordinate, supervise, manage, or train others to accomplish goals.

Basic knowledge of excel, MS Office programs and use of mobile applications.

Work Conditions

Able to stand at least 6 hrs in a day and able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.

Availability: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.
