Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Tax Manager to lead our tax department and provide comprehensive tax services to a diverse client base. This role will require a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax positions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for C-Corp, S-Corp, and partnership entities.
Prepare and review 1040 returns for high net worth individuals and trusts.
Conduct tax planning and consulting for clients, including real estate and not-for-profit organizations.
Perform cost segregation studies and provide insights on business valuation.
Lead compliance audits and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
Train and mentor junior tax staff, enhancing team performance and knowledge.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their tax needs effectively.
Prepare and file IRS forms 990 for non-profits and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
Oversee tax accounting for closely held businesses and pass-through entities, ensuring accurate return preparation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA credential preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
Expertise in C-Corp, S-Corp, partnership tax, and individual tax returns.
Experience working with high net worth individuals and complex tax scenarios.
Strong knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and consulting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial statement preparation.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Ability to oversee staff training and development.
Experience with compliance auditing and tax accounting principles.
