HVAC Mechanic - Commercial
We are an energy-efficient business that enhances communities by applying our knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP). With about 3,500 technicians and a partner network of over 40 businesses, we offer specialized MEP solutions with an emphasis on energy saving. This position has potential for growth within our family-owned company. The ability to provide a high level of customer service is essential to this position.
Key Responsibilities

• Service Air conditioning and heating systems in residential and light-commercial environments in accordance with current codes.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system failures and malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with construction teams to install new systems in commercial buildings.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all HVAC operations.
• Document service and maintenance activities accurately and timely.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Must have a driver's license, clean driving record and capability to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Familiarity with national, state and local HVAC code regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• EPA Certification 608 Certification
• The physical ability to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, chases and other confined work areas is also required.
