HVAC/R Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician with expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining various HVAC systems, including refrigeration, package units, ice machines, chillers, split systems, and rooftop units. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC refrigeration and troubleshooting tasks.
• Service and repair package units, ice machines, chillers, and split systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Address customer HVAC problems promptly and communicate the issue within two hours.
• Complete 3-5 service calls per day throughout Long Island and Queens.

Essential Skills

• Experience in field service, HVAC troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, condensers, and rooftop units.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Must own personal hand tools for service tasks.
• Preferably based in Nassau or Queens with parking space for a service van.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, requiring the completion of 3-5 service calls per day. The service area covers Long Island and Queens, with a preference for candidates based in Nassau or Queens. Technicians must have a parking space for a company van and are expected to report HVAC issues to customers within two hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Westbury, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr. medical, dental, vision, 401k match.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Westbury,NY.
