HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform service, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on various heating and cooling systems including chillers, rooftop units, and split systems. This role involves working with control wiring and maintaining HVAC/R systems from brands such as Mitsubishi, Honeywell, Daikin, and others.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and field service on HVAC systems including split systems, rooftop units, and mini-splits.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Change filters, coils, and condensers as needed.
• Manage control wiring and chiller system maintenance.
• Execute HVAC start-up systems and construction-related tasks.

Essential Skills

• 8-10 years of experience as a service technician.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and service of HVAC systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and installation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EPA 608 certification.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• SST 10 certification.

Work Environment

Work is predominantly in commercial office buildings, shopping centers, and schools. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the possibility of on-call work during weekends at time and a half.

Job Type & Location

This is a full time position based out of Woodside, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
