Become the Coordinator You Aspire to Be

• Collaborate with nursing leaders to enhance the staffing effectiveness of the nursing department.
• Assist supervisors in addressing any staffing schedule challenges.
• Ensure compliance of employee/contract/student files with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate the scheduling of educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Under the supervision of the CNO, manage the coordination and communication of nursing staff schedules.
• Distribute the nursing schedule promptly and efficiently.
• Alert supervisors of any staffing ratio issues.
• Draft letters, emails, reports, and presentations that are professional and appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee personal and financial information.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling within a hospital setting is preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience as a Nursing Staffing Coordinator in a large hospital.
