FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. Pay is based on relevant experience, plus an additional $2.00 per hour float pay.
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Practice Technician to perform essential clinical and administrative tasks that support patient care and office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers or nurses in delivering patient care under supervision.
- Perform basic clinical skills, specimen collection, and monitor changes in patient conditions.
- Document patient care provided and maintain accurate records.
- Manage medical supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stocking, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Handle various administrative tasks including patient registration, scheduling, data entry, and filing.
- Exhibit critical thinking and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Credentials: Basic Life Support, Emergency Medical Technician
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Licensure: Current State Licensure as an EMT or EMT-I and a valid BLS certification.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
Additional Information:
Applicants must have a valid BLS card from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer before the start date, and the card must remain valid for at least sixty days after hire.
